Belmar Welcomes Marketing Director Leslie Horna to the

DENVER ­– September 30, 2016 ­— Belmar, downtown Lakewood’s shopping and dining district, is pleased to welcome Leslie Horna as marketing director. Horna will oversee marketing, communications and community relations for the 22-block shopping, dining, entertainment, office and residential district.

“We’re delighted for Leslie to join the Belmar team. She’s a longtime resident of the Denver metro area, brings a wealth of experience and has a keen understanding of Denver and the Belmar community,” said Belmar General Manager Larry Herkal.

Horna joins Belmar as it continues its expansion in the area. The Hyatt House, Belmar’s first hotel, recently opened, as well as the Tstreet Roadhouse restaurant and residential properties. Each year, Belmar also hosts numerous special events and promotions and is currently preparing for its annual Belmar Boo, The Rink at Belmar, and holiday festivities.

Horna began with Belmar on Monday, September 12 and brings more than 16 years of experience. She has held marketing and communications positions with Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District, HCA-HealthONE and the United States Olympic Committee. Horna earned recent award nominations for Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts EY Next Wave Leadership Award. She currently serves on the Denver Film Society’s board of directors and is an active supporter and volunteer for many area arts and civic organizations.

Belmar hosts several seasonal and annual promotions and events attracting hundreds of thousands of guests. Events include Festival Italiano, Belmar Boo, The Rink at Belmar, outdoor music on the plaza, art gallery walks, and more.

Belmar features more than 80 stores and restaurants. Stores include Sur La Table, White House | Black Market, Nordstrom Rack, Chico’s and Victoria’s Secret. Dining options range from The French Press and Champa St. Burger Works to The Rock Wood Fired Kitchen and Wasabi Sushi.
