2012 Volunteer Application - Coming Soon!
The
2012 Festival Italiano needs more than 300 volunteers
to produce the two day event. Please sign up
for as many shifts as possible. We promise you
will have a great time!
Once
you have submitted your application, a Festival
Italiano representative will contact you regarding
your status, assignment and scheduling. By submitting
this application you are indicating that you
have read and agree to the 2012 Festival Italiano
Volunteer Program Information (below).
Attendance
We
depend on your commitment to participate. Your
presence and prompt arrival for your scheduled
shifts are absolutely necessary. VERY IMPORTANT:
If your schedule changes, or if you have an
emergency, please contact Carol Hiller at 303.282.5073.
You
must check in at the Volunteer Headquarters
at the “Start Time” of each shift you work.
At the time of check-in you will receive directions
to your station and your volunteer meal voucher.
The Volunteer Headquarters location will be
announced in an e-mail that you will receive
prior to the festival.
What
to Wear
As
the weather in Colorado can be very unpredictable
especially in September, we ask that you dress
casual, comfortable and weather appropriate.
We also suggest you wear comfortable shoes as
you could be standing most of your shift. You
will be offered an event t-shirt as well.
Training
All
volunteers, new and returning, will receive
a detailed job responsibility description and
other volunteer and Festival Italiano information.
We ask that you are familiar with your responsibilities
prior to your shift. At the beginning of your
shift you will receive a brief orientation.
We will make sure you are equipped with the
knowledge and tools to complete your responsibilities.
Volunteer
Meals and Beverages
At
check-in, each volunteer will be given a t-shirt and a meal
voucher valid with most food vendors. Participating
vendors will be listed at Volunteer HQ. Beverages
are available at Volunteer Check-In / Headquarters.
